Sherrill has been in Canada with Carolyn and George Garland
for 5 days now and has been sharing some fun stamping ideas.
One of the first ideas she shared this time around was
How to make hand painted papers using stampin up ink refills and
whisper white cardstock.
She calls the technique Hand Painted Papers
The paper can be torn while it is still wet to give you a ruff edge
When the paper is wet you can tear it and roll it into flowers.
You can stamp images onto the wet paper so the ink absorbs into it like she did with these leaves.
We used sponge daubers to apply the inks so that the colors would be closer
together since we were working with such small papers.
Friday night Carolyn and her stamping gals had a shoe box swap
Sherrill's Swap card

The girls covered a large paper clip Carolyn gave them.
Then Sherrill taught how to make multi colored ink pads
using stampin up supplies.
This is a multi colored pad made out of an old so saffron ink pad.
so saffron, pumpkin pie and soft suede ink was used.
(Sherrill is teaching this class again in Virginia at the end of the month for Barbara's friends)

I just love the autumn leaves - beautiful. Looks like you had fun! Was that you, Sherrill, licking the cream off the spoon? LOL! xxx
YES, we were talking about how Sandi http://stampingwithsandi.com/ took a photo of me with a huge bite of cheesecake on my fork at convention. Carolyn had her camera out and I let her take a photo of me licking the plate. We all got a good laugh out of it. When 7 girls get together for 48 hours straight we all get a little silly!
Thanks for leaving a comment. I can always count on you for being a really good friend.
I appreciate you stopping by
Hugs, sherrill
