Artist Spotlight- Sandi MacIver

I'm Sandi, I live in Portland Oregon with hubby Ian and Dog Jack.
I have been a Stampin Up Demonstrator since March 2008.
stamping for over 20 years.
My favorite part about being a demonstrator is enabling people and showing them how to make beautiful projects, watching as they gain their confidence and discover the hidden artist in themselves.
Myself, I love to create.
I surround myself with paper, stamps, ink, embellishments.
If you looked at my work table, your first reaction would be, Oh my gosh, how does she create anything from this mess? That is how my little brain works, it grabs it all, and just puts it together. Yes my ideas keep me awake some nights, thankfully, I do remember them in the morning. I just finished travel plans to my first Regional in Seattle next month and I am so looking forward to the adventure. In the past year I have met so many nice people and they are all stampin up demonstrators or customers who have become friends. How blessed are we to share this great hobby and passion, and we get to call this WORK!

Stampin Up Art Posting Contest - $50 prize for the winners

I have hired this talented artist to make samples for me. Just look at the beauty of these two cards. Like the other paper artists she pays special attention to details. Even her backgrounds in her photographs match the design.

Sandi MacIver send these two cute bunnies to live at my house just in time for Spring!

A quote from Sandi's Blog
"The pink ribbon is Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon

Ok, so now, I'm going to brag - my blog - I'm allowed right?
SHERILL GRAFF left me a message on my blog - I am so stoked about that, you just can't believe it.
Her blog is http://www.latenitestampinwithsherill.blogspot.com/ give her a visit, you will be glad you did
(she is like the Princess of S.U. - Shelli is her upline!).
They are a most awesome group of ladies, so nice, so kind, so creative. ANYWAY, she asked me to design for her, of course I said yes, and so, my Bunny Box, and Bunny Card are on their way to VEGAS BABY....
I gave them a silver dollar to play the slots for me.
.... Hope the bunnies send me a post card from Vegas."

So Sandi is entered in my posting contest.

Would you like your artwork displayed on my blog as well?

Artist Spotlight - Tana Conley

I became a stamper and scrapbooker about 12 years ago and have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for about 3 years now. I *love* design work and thinking outside the box.
That's one of the things that I'm 'famous' for, is using supplies and stamps for things other than they were meant to be. It's a great way to exercise creativity when you look at your stamps and supplies in a whole new light. My mother died of brain cancer when I had just turned 13 and because of this in my life, I am very passionate about leaving a legacy for my children. I want them to know how they grew up, so this is why I got into stamping and scraping.
Through all of this, it's helped me realize how great of a gift that God has given me. Mostly I'm most passionate about using my God given gift of stamping, scraping and creating to encourage and help others, especially my own children. Visit my blog http://tanaconley.blogspot.com/

Tana is part of our Latenightstamper Design team.
Thanks for all the inspiration, We love your work!

Stampin Up Big Shot and punch ideas

Look at this cute purse made out of chipboard, and the little turkey name holder for Thanksgiving. I also love these pumpkins made with the oval punch!

My favorite item here is the owl since an owl is our Latenightstampers Logo.

How do you like this great calendar idea, I can't wait to use the back of this huge cookie sheet I have.
The snowflake above is wonderful. I hang them all over my Christmas tree.

Great apple to put on your teachers gift for appreciation week.

This little frog
was on a swap
card from our
Pre-Convention
events last year.
Isn't he cute :)

Love this little lamb a friend of ours used this idea on her swap cards at our Las Vegas Stampers meeting. It was a huge hit!

I love this chipboard flower and this fun Santa garland too!

Last of all look at how creative this demonstrator is! What a great idea....
A special Thanks to all this weeks contributors, you will all be put in my drawing for free stamps!
