I too had 3 Heart Attacks within a 2 month period last year, and then found out that I had PAD and had to be put on Oxygen 24/7. My life changed dramatically and I no longer work. Looking for something to fill the void, I joined Stampin' Up! just to get the Discount. Now I am holding classes in my home and have met some wonderful people. I cannot leave the house and do Demo Parties because of the Oxygen, it is too heavy to haul around. I went through depression and then it dawned on me that I could do things from my home. Life has new meaning now and I am on the mend. My DH worries too if I will still be here everyday when he gets home from work. I am very young, only 51 and yet I have health problems like that of an 80 year old. I have come to love Stampin' Up! as a Family, they never leave your side. I love the products, and I love creating. My classes are fun and I am so glad that I can do it from the comfort of my home. I am truly Blessed. If it weren't for Stampin'Up! coming to my rescue, I don't know where I would be now. Thank you for sharing your story, it meant a lot to me. It is nice to know that I am not the only one stuggling to make things work. I hope your Holidays are the Merriest ever and may you Always be as Blessed as you are today. Have a wonderful stamping day!

Well, for starters, I need to confess that I'm still working on some last minute Christmas cards to give to a few more friends. I really feel for you and your husband. I started having health issues in my mid-twenties that include the heading off of a heart attack at the ripe age of 26. I continued having problems off and on with my heart and had a stroke 6 years ago at 42. I blew out my carotid artery and spent five days in a coma, crashed twice and they didn't think I was going to make it. Then three years ago I was diagnosed with a carcinoid tumor that started in my appendix and spread out to my intestines. Nothing like a little cancer to put things in perspective! Anyway, I'm still here and I'm still kicking and I know it's all by God's grace. I think He knew that as a single mom with five kids, I was needed here more than He needed me up there! I wasn't able to stamp for a while after my stroke, partly because I couldn't remember everything I needed to know and partly because I didn't feel very creative. I thought I had lost my mojo but it has returned over the years and it's inspiration I get from blogs and yahoo groups that have helped it along. Thanks for sharing your story with us and thank you for sharing your talent. You are an amazing stamper!

Rubber hugs!

I'm working on my first altered book, turning a Reader's Digest condensed book into a family cookbook for my daughter-in-law. I've used some of my SU stamps, punches, designer papers and inks to decorate the pages. I'd love to be entered in your drawing.

I have to add that I discovered Stampin' Up after I became disabled. It gave me a new focus in my life. We are all blessed.
