Touching lives one greeting card at a time- Stampin for Charity
A quick note of thanks to each of you who continue to send your extra cards, your extra card fronts and your no longer needed scrapbook paper for us to use with our charities.
This morning we made scripture cards with a group of young ladies who are going to girls camp. Each morning every young lady who attends camp will receive a "pick me up" message given from another sister.
With your help they are building relationships while building faith. Thank YOU
The last Ronald McDoanld house event we had was well attended. Thank you for all the help and inspiration you have given these children over the past 4 years. It's such a blessing to know you are loved and cared for when you do not feel well. Thank you for caring for the sick and needy children. Thanks for your card donations. You are truly changing lives, one card at a time.
A few of your cards that were not used in our children's event went to a little ol' gal who is 98 years old, to cheer her up during her last season of life. She spent her later years making sure all of her friends had cards on their birthday. She sent over 30 cards each month. She was thrilled to see a little basket filled with cards from all her friends wishing her well after this latest fall. Sad to say her health is not improving and she is not expected to live long. Thank you for touching her last few moments with your beautiful artwork. God bless you all.
One last thank you for all who are sending cards for the troops. I know our 1,000 father's Day cards were well received. Susan and Martie say when a box arrives that has the words Stampin Up on the side everyone gathers to see the wonderful cards for service men and women to use. Thank you for all you do.
