Caring for families staying at our Las Vegas Ronald McDonald House by Sherrill Graff

Today was the Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser

They had a coloring table for the children

Holly and I had handcrafted cards to sell, all proceeds went to the house

How wonderful that so many people 

joined in on the fun!

Ronald was there as well

He helped everyone get warmed up at 6:30 am

Below are the 4 house guests that all have little babies in the hospital at the moment

It was a pleasure to meet them and hear their stories.

May God bless them

and may their little ones all grow and develop 

so they can take their babies home very soon

The did say how nice it is that they have handmade cards 

(that our Stampin Up demonstrators donate) 

in their nightstands to use anytime they wish.

They also mentioned how nice it was to see the scrapbooks our Late Night Stampers made 

to hold the photos of the families/children who have stayed in 

the Las Vegas house over the last few years.

We are on the same block as the Salt Palace Convention center

where the Stampin Up events are held later that week.

and yummy dessert 

Our Sunday Night gift exchange game is so much fun!

Everyone brings a handcrafted gift that costs $5 or less 

and we all go home with a work of heART

The Radisson Downtown in Salt Lake City

is where we hold our events each year

This year 80 of our best friends will

enjoy a full week together

I want to thank God for such amazing Late Night Stamper demonstrator friends who came to my aid when needing how to know how to make a paper bag book.

I had never made one before today.

As you may be able to tell, this one is for the

  LDS Young Women Girls Camp

(LDS short for the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) 

Their theme is Act Well thy Part

I left plenty of space for Journaling

and photos 

there is also a clear baggie that zips shut so they can keep little things they find along the way.

This morning I listened to inspirational music. Music that makes me feel happy and alive.
Music that reminds me how grateful I am to be a child of God with so many blessings
a wonderful family, friends who love me, and a hobby I enjoy.

Each week on our Late Night Stamper group

for stampin up demonstrators 

we share what we are working on 

I had time to stamp and paint today
but I'll leave making these into cards and scrabook pages until next week.

This watercolor technique with stampin up re inkers  a friend and I came up with back in 2009

This technique is done on our whister white cardstock
